The application deadline for the USTA Serves college scholarships has been extended until Friday, February 24 - Monday, February 13, 2012

Exciting news! The Southern Patrons voted to award two $2,000 one-year scholarships this year, with the receipients to be selected from those who apply for the USTA Serves Scholarships (using similar criteria). Those who receive a USTA scholarship will not be considered for the two Southern Patrons scholarships. To insure the scholarship goes to a tennis player, the Southern Patrons scholarships will require some Southern standing within the past two to three years; the exact number for that standing has not been determined yet.
The scholarship application is available on the USTA (usta.com) website through USTA Serves. The application is not lengthy or difficult to complete. Please encourage your players graduating from high school this year to apply for these scholarships before the deadline of February 24. If you have any questions, please contact Yasmine Osborn or me.
